Rottweilers

My ESO and I watched Batman Begins and The Dark Knight last night. Possibly we should have gone to bed instead of staying up for the second movie. But neither of us had seen it and, well, the DVD player was right there...

Anyway it was good to see Batman Begins again. Both movies were quite well done. The Joker freaked me out in a couple of places. It's also pretty clear that they are setting up for the next movie, what with Two-Face and all.

However I was actually really sad to see that the mobsters' dogs were all Rottweilers. I know, I know, one of the police dogs was a Rottweiler too, but he was on the screen for all of ten seconds. Most of the police dogs were German Shepherd Dogs.

It makes me sad to see Rotties portrayed as vicious all the time. If they are mistreated they can be, or if they are trained badly. I know Rotties can be scary, they have a big bark and are big dogs, but it just bugs me that they are always portrayed as vicious dangerous dogs. If you give them love and attention and training they are wonderful pets, just like any other dog.
